Ebo Richardson of G-Money Financial Services named Fintech Executive of the Year at Ghana Executive Awards 2025

Ebo Richardson, Principal Lead of G-Money Financial Services (GMFS), has won the Fintech Executive of the Year award. This recognition was given at the first Ghana Executive Awards 2025.

Ebo is a respected figure in Ghana’s digital transformation. He received this honor for his leadership and innovation over the past 15 years. The awarding board praised his dedication to driving digital change and technological advancement.

“This award confirms Ebo’s commitment to impactful results in fintech,” they noted.

Ebo has played key roles in major projects, such as Barclays Bank's transition to Absa Ghana. He has held top positions like Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Absa Africa. Currently, he is leading the strategic repositioning of GMFS.

After receiving the award, Ebo expressed gratitude for the recognition. “I thank God for His guidance,” he said. He also appreciated his bosses and commended his team for their commitment.

“I dedicate this award to my colleagues, family, and the Board of G-Money,” he added.

Ebo acknowledged customers, partners, and vendors who contributed to GMFS's success. He praised his team's resilience in overcoming challenges.
