Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has sent warm Eid ul-Fitr greetings. He congratulated Muslims in Ghana and around the world on completing Ramadan.
In a heartfelt message on social media, Dr. Bawumia and his wife, Hajia Samira Bawumia, expressed gratitude for Ramadan's spiritual journey. They prayed for divine blessings upon the nation.
“On this blessed occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, Hajia Samira and I extend our warmest congratulations to fellow Muslims,” he wrote.
He asked Allah to accept their prayers and bless everyone, including loved ones and the nation.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized generosity and compassion during this time. He urged Muslims to continue acts of kindness towards the less fortunate.
“Let us uphold the virtues of kindness we showed during Ramadan,” he said. “Eid Mubarak.”
