President John Dramani Mahama urged Ghanaians to support the vulnerable. This call came during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration at Black Star Square in Accra.
He emphasized compassion and unity, especially for those less fortunate. The President noted that Eid-ul-Fitr is a time for joy and thanksgiving. It is also an opportunity to show generosity.
Mahama encouraged Muslims and all Ghanaians to remember those in need. He asked them to share their blessings with people facing hardships.
"As we end Ramadan, let’s not forget the vulnerable," he said. "This is a time for reflection, kindness, and support."
He called on religious and community leaders to set an example. They should foster a culture of care and social responsibility.
"The true essence of this celebration is uplifting one another," he added. "Let’s strengthen our bonds of brotherhood and ensure no one is left behind."
