President Nana Akufo-Addo has called on Ghana’s clergy and political parties to avoid divisive rhetoric and premature election predictions ahead of the December 7 elections.
Speaking through Minister Stephen Asamoah Boateng at a “Agent of Peace” event, he urged restraint and respect throughout the electoral process, emphasizing the need for decorum and unity.
Highlighting Ghana’s democratic achievements, Akufo-Addo warned against inflammatory language, stressing that democracy relies on peaceful, respectful elections and urging restraint on any claims of victory before votes are cast.
