Global InfoAnalytics projects a decisive victory for John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana's December 7, 2024, elections. Mahama is predicted to secure 52.2% of the presidential vote, ahead of New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, with 41.4%.
Other candidates, including Alan Kyerematen and Nana Kwame Bediako, collectively garner less than 6%.
Mahama is expected to win in 10 regions, including Greater Accra, Volta, and Northern regions, while Bawumia is projected to dominate in Ashanti and Eastern regions. Parliament forecasts favor the NDC with 150 seats, leaving 29 constituencies undecided.
Key voter influences include economic issues and service delivery. The survey indicates Mahama’s support could range from 50.4% to 54.1% based on turnout and undecided voters.
