The National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has reiterated the party’s justification for restructuring its parliamentary leadership earlier this year, dismissing criticisms of the decision.
Speaking at a rally in Ajumako Enyan Essiam, he described the changes—replacing Haruna Iddrisu, James Klutse Avedzi, and Muntaka Mubarak with Ato Forson and others—as strategic and necessary.
Asiedu Nketiah emphasized that despite initial backlash, the new leadership has delivered commendable results, strengthening the party’s performance in Parliament.
“We saw potential in the new leaders, and they haven’t disappointed. It was like a relay race—when one is tired, the baton is passed. We made the right call, and it’s paying off,” he stated.
