Energy Minister appeals to Tamale residents to help NEDCo fight illegal connections

The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Mr. John Abdulai Jinapor, urged Tamale residents to support NEDCo staff. They are working to combat illegal connections in the area.

He noted that over 50% of losses in the NEDCo area come from illegal connections. In Tamale specifically, this figure rises to 70%.

The minister spoke during a visit to the Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Ali Adolf John Nburidiba. This visit took place on Monday as part of his one-day trip to the region.

Mr. Jinapor emphasized the ministry's commitment to stable power supply. He stated they aim for reliable electricity and want to address related costs.
