Eric Oduro Osae steps down as Director-General of Internal Audit Agency

Dr. Eric Oduro Osae has officially left his role as Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA). His tenure at the institution has now ended.

On April 17, 2025, Dr. Osae announced his departure in a statement. He expressed gratitude to stakeholders for their support and collaboration during his time in office.

“I want to thank all of you for the support, advice, and the opportunity to serve God and country,” he stated.

Dr. Osae is an expert in governance and public financial management. He has played a key role in strengthening Ghana’s internal audit systems.

His leadership at the IAA advanced transparency and accountability in public financial management.
