Esther Cobbah, Georgina Fiagbenu, Emma Wenani made it on Women in PR Ghana's 2024 Top 10 PR list

Esther Cobbah, CEO of Stratcomm Africa, made the 2024 Top 10 PR list. She is also the President of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana. Georgina Asare Fiagbenu from MTN Ghana and Emma Wenani from Global Media Alliance Group are also on the list.

This announcement is part of Women in PR Ghana's celebration for International Women’s Day. The recognition has been awarded for seven years. It honors women's contributions to Public Relations.

The list highlights their leadership and mentorship roles. These women help develop future female PR practitioners. They also create impactful campaigns and support industry growth.

The Top 10 PR Women in Ghana for 2024 include:

4. Shirley Tony Kum (Vivo Energy Ghana)
5. Georgina Asare Fiagbenu (MTN Ghana)

7. Rita Agyeiwaa Rockson (Telecel Ghana)
8. Cassandra Twum Ampofo (Ghana Education Service)
9. Maame Akua Amoah Twum (Afrobarometer)
10. Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan (Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center)

WiPR Ghana received 26 nominations this year from the PR community for these awards. A six-member jury reviewed entries based on specific criteria.

Criteria included a minimum of six years in public relations, successful campaign execution, and effective use of media channels. Other factors were previous recognitions and mentoring efforts within the industry.

Joyce Sackitey-Ahiadorme praised the announcement as a significant moment for women in communications. She noted that these women have greatly impacted the business environment over the past year.

She emphasized how Public Relations has evolved with technology, allowing brands to tell their stories effectively. The new top 10 women exemplify sustainable growth in this profession.

Whitney Boakye Mensah highlighted that honorees showed exceptional leadership and innovative storytelling skills this year. They used both social and traditional platforms to drive impactful campaigns.

Women in PR Ghana also recognized other outstanding professionals like Suzy Ansah and Linda Segbefia among others for their contributions to the field.

The Top 10 recognition reflects Women in PR Ghana’s commitment to amplifying women's voices in communications and Public Relations.
