Everyone agrees planes landed; now show evidence of cocaine and money laundering—Ama Pratt

Ama Pratt, the Press Secretary to the Vice President, has raised concerns. She questions the ongoing focus on aircraft movements in Ghana's airspace. She demands evidence for claims of cocaine trafficking and money laundering involving government officials.

In an interview on GHOne TV, she acknowledged efforts in intelligence gathering. However, she emphasized that the core issue remains unproven. “We appreciate your efforts, but where is the evidence?” she asked.

Pratt stated that it is clear planes have landed in Ghana. Their intended purposes have been outlined by everyone involved. “There’s no conversation about the core mandates of those flights,” she said.

She noted that companies involved admitted their flights were for refueling or repairs. “That’s not evidence,” she insisted. The real question is about proving cocaine and money laundering allegations.

Pratt criticized critics who might exaggerate future claims. She joked that they might even discuss pilot outfits or passenger counts next time. “Maybe part three will say the pilot wore blue instead of green,” she mocked.

She issued a warning to those accusing the government of drug trafficking. “Be ready for repercussions,” she cautioned them. Accusing a government of such serious crimes has consequences.

Pratt urged responsibility from public figures spreading these claims. “Let’s demand responsibility from Members of Parliament,” she concluded.
