The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has released Kwaku Ohene Djan, the former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), after days of detention over his alleged role in the NSA scandal.
Djan’s arrest was part of an ongoing probe into financial mismanagement and misconduct at the NSA, which has raised public concern in recent months.
The investigation has implicated several high-profile individuals in alleged fraudulent activities and financial misappropriation.
Following his release on Monday, February 24, the NIB confirmed that Djan remains a person of interest and could be recalled for further questioning.
His legal team has assured that he is fully cooperating with authorities as the probe continues.
