The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dominic Ayine, announced an arrest.
Kwabena Adu Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), was arrested.
This is related to a controversial $7 million cyber defense system contract.

This contract was between the Government of Ghana and an Israeli company, RLC Holdings Limited.
The deal was for a cyber defense system software costing $7 million.
Ayine shared these details during a press conference on March 24.
He further detailed the allegations against Adu-Boahene.
On February 6, 2020, he transferred GH¢27,100,000 from NSB's account.
