Senior government officials and private sector leaders need to change their approach. They must think and act differently to tackle the country's challenges.
They are encouraged to work with development partners. This includes the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Together, they should agree on a common agenda for socio-economic transformation.
President John Dramani Mahama shared this advice on Saturday. He spoke at the end of a four-day Executive Leadership Programme (ELP). This program was organized by the government and UNDP in Ada, Greater Accra Region.
The theme of the event was “Re-imagining leadership in a ‘reset’ Ghana.” It gathered senior government officials, including ministers and deputy ministers.
Also present were senior advisors, special guests, and resource persons from both national and international backgrounds. Representatives from the African Development Bank were also in attendance.
