‘Fake’ doctor Anne Sansa Daly was not sworn in on NHIA Board – Health Ministry

The Ministry of Health has denied reports about Ms. Anne Sansa Daly.

She was said to have been sworn in as a member of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). However, the ministry clarified that this did not happen.

Spokesperson Tony Goodman issued a press release. He described the Graphic Online report as misleading.

The statement emphasized that Ms. Daly was not sworn in on May 27, 2025.

Anne Sansa Daly's appointment as a board member has been revoked by President John Mahama. This decision follows concerns about her medical credentials being fake.

Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh confirmed this in a letter dated May 23, 2025. The letter was signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.

It stated that the President revoked Ms. Daly’s appointment immediately. Professor Dr. (Med) Ernest Yorke has been nominated to replace her on the Board.

The statement requested steps be taken for Prof. Yorke's swearing-in. It concluded with assurances from the President of Ghana.
