Family of former Clerk to Parliament, Mr SN Dakwa calls on Speaker Bagbin

The family of former Clerk to Parliament, Mr. SN Dakwa, has informed Speaker Alban Bagbin of his passing. A one-week memorial service was held in his honor at Ridge Church on Wednesday, March 4.

Dakwa dedicated over 30 years to parliamentary service, rising through the ranks to become Clerk to Parliament from 1993 to 1996.

His contributions to Ghana’s legislative history include co-authoring key publications such as The Evolution of Parliament in Ghana and How Our Parliament Functions alongside KB Ayensu.

His passing marks the loss of a distinguished public servant who played a vital role in shaping Ghana’s parliamentary processes.
