Feed Ghana Programme set to be rolled out April 11 - Agric Minister - Ghanaian Times

The government will launch the Feed Ghana Programme (FGP) next Friday. This event will take place in Techiman, Bono East Region.

The FGP aims to increase agricultural production. It will help feed the nation and provide raw materials for agro-industry. This initiative also seeks to create jobs.

The program supports the Agriculture for Economic Transformation Agenda (AETA). AETA was launched to modernize and grow the agricultural sector.

The FGP focuses on several key goals. These include boosting agribusiness development and ensuring food availability. It also aims to reduce food inflation and increase export revenues. Additionally, it seeks to generate sustainable job opportunities.

President John Dramani Mahama will launch this initiative. The FGP is expected to transform the agricultural sector. It aims to reduce import dependency while boosting domestic production and exports.
