Feel the heat if you want – Ellen Daaku cautions Owusu Bempah over Bawumia comments

Ellen Ama Daaku, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has spoken out. She criticized Ernest Owusu Bempah for his recent comments about Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Owusu Bempah suggested that choosing Dr. Bawumia as the NPP's flagbearer was a mistake. His remarks caused significant backlash, leading him to clarify his statements.

On Movement TV, Daaku did not hold back. She accused Owusu Bempah of using Bawumia as a scapegoat for his agenda.

“Don’t make Dr. Bawumia your chewing stick,” she warned him. She advised him to stop targeting the Vice President publicly.

Daaku believes Owusu Bempah's attempts to undermine Bawumia have failed. “It has backfired and this should serve as a caution to you,” she said.

She added that he can support his preferred candidate, Kennedy Agyapong, but should expect consequences for his actions.

Earlier on Oyerepa TV, Owusu Bempah claimed grassroots support for Agyapong is strong. He stated that party leadership must listen to what ordinary Ghanaians want.

“I do not sit here and speak on my own,” he explained. “I listen to the grassroots and they want Kennedy Agyapong.”
