Finali Limited confirms Ablakwa rents Airport Hills residence, not owner

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister for Foreign Affairs, has clarified his residential status following scrutiny during his vetting.

In a letter to Finali Limited, managers of Airport Hills, he granted consent for them to disclose details of his tenancy to Parliament’s Appointments Committee.

In response, Finali Limited confirmed that Ablakwa has rented the property since 2017 under an agreement with landowner Husni Altheebeh, with a renewal in 2022.

The company emphasized that Airport Hills is an owner-occupied community with limited rentals.

Ablakwa maintained that he had nothing to hide and insisted on full transparency despite the Committee’s decision to halt further questioning.

His move highlights growing public interest in officials’ personal dealings.
