The public relations team will address this issue internally to avoid future occurrences.

**Background:**

On March 21, 2025, a fire broke out in a commercial building near Adum Central Market in Kumasi. This caused extensive damage worth thousands of Ghanaian cedis.

As firefighters worked, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene visited the scene. He was frustrated by an empty fire tender parked there without water.

He questioned firefighters about their preparedness for such situations. His concerns highlighted challenges faced by the service during emergencies.

In response, Alex King Nartey defended their actions. He stated that public outbursts would not solve issues faced by firefighters.

Mr. Nartey emphasized the need for proper resources and planning instead of verbal criticism.
