A fire broke out at the Dzorwulu Bulk Supply Point in Greater Accra.
This incident occurred on Sunday, May 4th. It caused power outages across several areas of Accra.
Thick smoke was seen rising from the facility. Nearby residents and passers-by noticed the smoke.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are on-site. They are working hard to control the fire.

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) confirmed the incident. They acknowledged its impact on local power supply.
In a statement, ECG assured customers that power will be restored soon. This will happen after the fire is extinguished and safety checks are done.
