Fire destroys widow’s six-bedroom house in Dunyan-Nkwanta

A devastating fire has destroyed a six-bedroom house in Dunyan-Nkwanta. This community is in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region. The fire has left a widow homeless.

The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Sunday. At that time, all occupants were away from the house.

Mary Agyemang, the affected widow, reported seeing thick smoke first. Flames quickly spread and engulfed the entire structure.

Attempts to contact the fire service were unsuccessful. No personnel arrived to help extinguish the flames.

By the time the fire was under control, nothing remained of the building. All personal belongings were lost in the blaze.

Nana Agyemang Boakye, chief of Dunyankwata, is seeking help for the widow. He urges individuals and organizations to assist her after this disaster.
