A fire outbreak at Labone Senior High School in Accra has destroyed three girls’ dormitories, causing significant damage to school property.

The blaze erupted while students were away for afternoon prep, affecting three out of six dormitories—one was completely burnt, while two others sustained partial damage.

Emergency responders from the Ghana National Fire Service arrived swiftly to contain the situation.

Fortunately, no injuries were recorded, and the affected students have been relocated to the assembly hall for temporary shelter.

The cause of the fire remains unknown as investigations are underway.
