Fire Destroys Part of Kwadaso SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College Hostel

A fire damaged the top floor of a hostel at Kwadaso SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 20, 2025, around 5 p.m.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded quickly. Their efforts prevented the fire from spreading to the entire two-storey building.

The hostel housed over 150 students, but many were home for Easter holidays. This meant no casualties were reported.

The fire destroyed all belongings on the top floor. Items lost included mattresses, laptops, provisions, and stationery.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. The Ghana National Fire Service is leading these efforts.
