Five injured in Ring Road crash as truck loses control

An accident occurred on the Ring Road in Accra on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. It left five people injured. The crash happened around midday and involved a Kia truck carrying bricks and several other vehicles.

Eyewitnesses reported that the truck, with registration number GX 3456-21, lost control. This was likely due to brake failure while going downhill. The truck then collided with multiple vehicles, including private cars.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene. They attended to the injured and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Among the victims was a young boy who suffered severe injuries.
