Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd (CBG) has appointed Florence Adei Ohene as Second Deputy Managing Director.
President John Mahama made the appointment to strengthen leadership at CBG.
Adei Ohene has over 20 years of experience in banking. She has worked in both Ghana and the United States.
In her new role, she joins Managing Director Dr. Naomi Kwetey and Deputy Managing Director Sheila Azuntaba. Together, they will lead the bank’s growth.
Before this appointment, Adei Ohene led CBG’s International and Diaspora Business portfolio. She focused on building relationships with Ghana’s global diaspora.
Her work expanded CBG’s international presence significantly. She is known for strategic thinking and execution excellence.
Prior to joining CBG, she held executive roles at uniBank. She also worked with major U.S. banks like JP Morgan Chase and PNC Bank.
Her expertise includes Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Business Strategy.
Adei Ohene holds an MBA from Georgetown University. She graduated cum laude with dual degrees from UCLA.
Outside of banking, she advocates for financial inclusion for women-owned businesses and underserved communities.
