The Ministry of Roads and Highways has assured the public that traffic congestion at the Flowerpot Flyover should ease by Friday, November 15, with noticeable improvements by Monday, November 18.
Ahmed Nasir Yartey, the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, highlighted ongoing 24-hour work by the contractor to reduce congestion, although some tasks like asphalt laying are limited to daytime for quality control.
Yartey appealed to commuters for patience, advising motorists to avoid the area if possible due to limited diversion options. This comes after commuters reported delays of over two hours on the route.
The Ministry remains committed to minimizing inconvenience as the project progresses.
