Citi News confirms the passing of Joseph Ade Coker. He was the former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Ade Coker was known for his outspoken views on national issues. He was highly regarded by NDC supporters.
He was first elected as Greater Accra Regional Chairman in 2009. He served three consecutive terms in this role. In 2022, he lost his re-election bid to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore.
Before politics, Ade Coker was Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association. He contributed his leadership to sports as well.
