Former High Commissioner Barbara Akuorkor Benisa celebrates Joy FM at 30 with heartfelt visit

The Multimedia Group Ltd. received a lovely surprise on Thursday. Barbara Akuorkor Benisa, Ghana’s former High Commissioner to Malta, visited to celebrate Joy FM’s 30th anniversary.

Her visit was personal and emotional. It was filled with gratitude and warmth.

Madam Benisa brought a beautiful cake shaped like the Joy FM logo. The cake, along with pastries and drinks, symbolized appreciation and support. It was baked by Bakeshop Classics, Ghana's oldest bakeshop established in 1990.

During her visit, Madam Benisa shared her long connection with the station. “Joy FM has been with me since 1997,” she said warmly. She felt it was important to be there in person rather than just send a message.

She expressed special thanks to Mr. Kwasi Twum, CEO of Multimedia Group. She praised his friendly personality and willingness to help.

The management of Multimedia Group welcomed her visit with delight. Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ken Ansah received Madam Benisa on behalf of the company.

He expressed deep appreciation for her presence and the beautiful cake. “Your thoughtfulness means a lot to us,” he said. He noted that support from individuals shapes Joy FM's success.

Mr. Ansah emphasized the importance of relationships for the company's relevance and purpose. He thanked Madam Benisa for making the moment special for everyone at the company.

Present at the meeting were several key staff members from Joy FM and other channels within Multimedia Group.
