Former NDC Greater Accra Chairman Ade Coker Passes Away at 67

Joseph Ade Coker, the former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, has died. He passed away on Saturday, May 31, at the Bank Hospital in Accra. The cause of death has not been officially revealed.

Coker was a prominent figure in Ghana’s politics. He was known for his candid views on national issues. His commitment to the NDC earned him much respect. His death marks a significant loss for the party's grassroots in Accra.

Coker was first elected as NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman in 2009. He served three consecutive terms during his tenure. He focused on strategic organizing and vocal advocacy for the party, especially during elections. In 2022, he lost his bid for a fourth term to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore.
