Former Directors-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Osei Assibey Antwi and Mustapha Ussif, have addressed accusations of irregularities in enrolment, verification, and payment processes within the NSA.
In a press release on February 18, they dismissed the Fourth Estate’s publication as misleading and incomplete, claiming it selectively omitted key information.
The officers clarified that the discrepancy between figures submitted to Parliament and public data stemmed from additional enrolment cycles for nursing and teacher trainees, which the Fourth Estate overlooked.
They also refuted claims of payroll padding with "ghosts," explaining that payments are only made to verified personnel through the GhiPPS System.
The former officers expressed confidence that an investigation would clear their names and provide clarity.
