Former Vice President’s ADC’s residence raided by National Security Operatives

The home of DSP Issahaku Yakubu, a former Vice President’s aide, was raided yesterday. The individuals claimed to be National Security operatives.

This raid has raised serious questions about the security forces' actions. It appeared to happen without cause or an official warrant. The raid occurred early in the morning, with no prior notice.

Witnesses reported that the operatives used force to break down the gate. They did not provide any clear explanation for their actions. Once inside, they destroyed doors to the main bedrooms.

The damage inside the home was extensive. The operatives ransacked rooms and scattered personal belongings. Even a mini mosque within the house was affected by the chaos.

Concerns have been raised about whether this raid was legally justified. The operatives removed the hard drive from CCTV cameras on-site. This raises questions about whether they aimed to hide evidence of their actions.

The individuals involved wore no visible identification and offered no explanations. This lack of transparency has led to suspicions about their legitimacy. Some observers believe the raid may have been politically motivated due to DSP Yakubu's past ties with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Public outrage has followed this event, with calls for clarification from the government and National Security. Many are concerned about human rights and respect for the rule of law in the country.

As of now, there has been no official statement from National Security regarding this incident.
