Four suspected robbers killed in shootout on Bekwai-Fomena Highway

Four suspected robbers were shot dead in a shootout. This occurred on the Bekwai-Fomena Highway in the Ashanti Region. The suspects were believed to be part of a robbery gang.

They had set up a roadblock and attacked passengers traveling between Bekwai and Fomena. Police quickly responded to distress calls and engaged the robbers in a fierce gun battle. Four suspects died during this operation.
