IMANI Africa President Franklin Cudjoe has called for the removal of Bernard Ahiafor as Chairman of Parliament’s Appointments Committee, describing him as rigid, unprepared, and uninspiring.
Cudjoe suggested that Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, who temporarily chaired the vetting process, should take over, praising his engaging and issue-focused approach.
In social media posts, he also commended Deputy Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for making the vetting process insightful.
His remarks follow a Minority walkout after Ahiafor's decision to overrule the Minority Leader’s questions during the vetting of the Deputy Attorney General.
