Franklin Cudjoe from Imani Africa has called for support from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). He wants them to conduct lifestyle audits in the country.
This request follows recent revelations about the former boss of the National Signals Bureau. Cudjoe believes that lifestyle audits should be routine to prevent future issues.
He expressed shock at how a young man could steal so much without attracting attention. "I wonder how someone can steal and spend without raising suspicion," he said.
Cudjoe emphasized that lifestyle audits must become standard practice. He urged support for the OSP in carrying out these audits.
"We shouldn't wait for a government to lose elections to uncover corruption," he added. He imagines what investigations might reveal about past government officials.
Cudjoe hopes current leaders and future candidates are paying attention to these issues.
