Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to address reports of alleged harassment by individuals purportedly affiliated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The issue involves civil servants being pressured to vacate government residential properties at Roman Ridge and the disruption of ongoing renovation works on one of the residences.
In a social media post, Cudjoe described the actions as "uncivil" and urged the NDC leadership to rein in its supporters.
He shared a message from an affected civil servant who expressed concern about the safety and well-being of occupants and their families due to the alleged actions.
The civil servant appealed for urgent intervention from the IGP to restore order and uphold the rule of law. Cudjoe revealed that he had privately alerted the IGP before making the matter public.
