Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has recommended maintaining the current leadership in Parliament for the 9th Parliament.
Blay expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the existing front bench, led by Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, despite ongoing discussions about potential changes.
Appearing on GHOne TV's Hard Talk, Blay highlighted the leadership's strong performance during the 8th Parliament, even in the face of a hung Parliament.
He noted that the front bench had managed to prevent a constitutional crisis and effectively represented the party.
Blay emphasized unity within the party and suggested that maintaining the current leadership would ensure continued competence in the opposition.
