A renewed attack at Salaga Senior High School in the Savannah Region has left one student unconscious and hospitalized, while several others have fled for safety.
Tensions escalated on February 6 when students from Salaga protested the arrest of three peers following a previous altercation.
Their demand for fairness in police action led to stone-pelting, drawing in youth from Kpembe, who stormed the school and assaulted students.
Although police have since been deployed, no arrests have been made.
This follows an earlier clash on February 1 that resulted in 20 arrests and the seizure of a locally made gun.
A seven-member committee has been set up to investigate the incidents and recommend preventive measures.
