Full list of Awardees at the 9th Edition of the Annual CEO Summit

The 9th Edition of the Annual CEO Summit occurred on May 26, 2025. It took place at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City. The event gathered top executives, policymakers, and business leaders. They engaged in high-level discussions about leadership excellence.

The theme was “Reigniting Business and Economic Growth.” It focused on economic diversification and artificial intelligence transformation. The summit aimed to address Ghana’s future economy and digital transformation.

A key highlight was the CEO Excellence Awards 2025. These awards recognized outstanding leaders in various industries. They celebrated contributions to growth, innovation, and transformation in Ghana’s business environment.

The awardees were divided into three categories:

1. CEO of the Year Award List: This recognized top-performing CEOs in finance, energy, real estate, ICT, and manufacturing.

2. Leadership Excellence List: This honored individuals showing strategic foresight and visionary leadership.

3. Merged Categories: This included executives recognized in both previous categories for their exceptional impact.

Notable winners included Mohamed Samara from Meridian Port Services. He received the Overall CEO of the Year – Private Sector award. Alex Apau Dadey from KGL was named Overall Group CEO of the Year. Shiraz Khota from SAP was honored as Global Technology CEO of the Year (Africa and Middle East).

President John Mahama attended the summit to support leadership and economic dialogue.
