Full text: Mahama's address on marking 120 days in office

My Fellow Ghanaians, Good Evening.

Today is May 7, 2025. It has been 120 days since I was sworn in as President of Ghana for a new four-year term.

I marked this day to update you on our progress. We promised to take critical steps in our initial months in office.

Our campaign focused on "Building the Ghana we want together." Our manifesto, "Rese[ng Ghana," outlined a bold plan for recovery and transformation.

A key part of this plan was a social contract for the first 120 days. This included specific promises to show our commitment to change.

I am here tonight to share how we have delivered on these promises. To the people of Ghana and the world, I want to be clear: We made promises, and we have kept them.

Our first 120 days featured decisive action and transparency. We focused on laying the foundation for a just, prosperous, and united Ghana.
