G/A Minister leads cleanup exercise in Shai-Osudoku

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ms. Linda Akweley Ocloo, led a cleanup exercise on Saturday. This event took place in the Shai-Osudoku District. It was part of the second edition of "Regional Sanitation Day."

The cleanup started at 6:00 am. Participants cleaned their surroundings and streets. They also de-silted clogged gutters and cleared weeds.

This initiative followed a directive from the Regional Coordinating Council. All Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies in Greater Accra were involved. The goal was to conduct a large-scale clean-up for Regional Sanitation Day.

After the exercise, Ms. Ocloo spoke to journalists. She is also the Member of Parliament for the area. She stated that this effort aligns with the President's directive to make Accra Africa's cleanest city.
