GA/R: Bissa chiefs call on TDC Acting Managing Director to express gratitude

Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, the Acting Managing Director of TDC Development Company Limited, welcomed a visit from Chief Gibril Bancey II. The Bissa tribal chief of Tema visited on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The purpose of the visit was to express gratitude. Chief Bancey II thanked Mr. Nunekpeku for his financial support during the funeral rites of the late wife of a former Bissa Chief.

Chief Bancey II led the delegation and shared a heartfelt message. He praised Mr. Nunekpeku for his compassion during their mourning period. He noted that this gesture symbolized unity and respect for tradition.

The TDC executive management team joined Mr. Nunekpeku in welcoming the visitors warmly.

In response, Mr. Nunekpeku extended his condolences again. He reaffirmed TDC’s commitment to strengthening community ties and honoring cultural heritage.

“At TDC, we value our relationships with stakeholders,” he said. “Supporting communities during grief or celebration reflects who we are.”

The visit ended with a traditional letter of appreciation being presented. There was also an exchange of symbolic tokens to affirm mutual respect and collaboration between TDC and traditional leadership.
