GA/R: Oyansana Assemblyman calls for more support for deprived schools

Abubakari Mohammed is the Assemblyman for the Oyansana Electoral Area. He represents the Greater Accra Region. He has called for more support for underprivileged schools. This support aims to bridge the educational gap. It will help ensure equal learning opportunities for disadvantaged students.

He made this appeal during a Quiz and Debate competition. The event included schools like Oduntia Presbyterian Basic School, Akwatsiri M/A Basic School, and Kojo Ashong Methodist Basic School. These schools are located in the Ga West Municipality.

Abubakari Mohammed emphasized investing in deprived schools. He believes this support will boost morale among students and teachers. It will also reinforce the value of education in the community.

Samuel Amoah spoke on behalf of the teachers. He is the Head of the Primary Department and a Basic 6 teacher. He thanked the Assemblyman for his ongoing efforts to improve education in their area.
