GAF dismisses viral audio alleging ammunition transfer

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has debunked a viral audio claim that a civilian pick-up truck transported ammunition from the 5 Battalion of Infantry's Magazine.

In a statement on December 25, GAF clarified that the truck delivered a live cow for quarantine near the Magazine.

The military urged the public to disregard the false claim and emphasized the need to verify security-related information before sharing.

GAF warned that spreading unverified reports can cause fear and unnecessary tension, especially during sensitive times.
