GCAA, Ghana Airports extend operational hours at Kumasi and Tamale Airports

The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) have announced extended hours at two major airports.

Prempeh I International Airport (PIA) in Kumasi will now operate until 11:00 p.m. The new hours are from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Tamale International Airport (TIA) will also extend its hours. It will now operate from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The GCAA has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM). This notice informs all airlines of the changes.

Domestic airlines are encouraged to increase their flight frequency at both airports.

The public should note the revised operational hours for travel planning.

This initiative aims to improve air travel convenience in Ghana, especially in the northern and Ashanti regions.
