GCB Bank PLC recently visited the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu. This visit took place at his residence in Fadama-Accra. It was ahead of the Eid al-Adha celebrations.
The delegation was led by Mr. Sina Kamagate, Executive Head of Retail Banking. They brought goodwill, prayers, and a donation for the festival.
During the visit on June 4, Mr. Kamagate explained their purpose. He said, “We come on a very simple mission.” He noted that they are in the month of Dhul Hijjah. Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in two days.
Mr. Kamagate praised the Chief Imam’s generosity. He mentioned how many find refuge and sustenance at his home during festivities.
He added, “We came to greet him and see how he is doing.” The bank also presented donations to support Eid al-Adha preparations.
Mr. Kamagate presented a bull and cash donations on behalf of GCB Bank. The Chief Executive asked him to lead this delegation personally.
The Chief Imam welcomed the delegation warmly. He expressed gratitude for their thoughtful gesture and offered prayers for them.
He prayed for blessings upon GCB Bank and its team members. His prayers included protection from misfortune and abundant blessings in their work.
This visit emphasized GCB Bank's strong ties with religious leaders in Ghana. It shows their commitment to national unity, peace, and shared cultural values.
