GDPC workers kick against appointment of new CEO - Ghanaian Times

Some workers at the Ghana Deposit Protection Corporation (GDPC) have concerns. They are asking President John Dramani Mahama to reconsider Mr. Galahad Alex Andoh's appointment as CEO.

The workers believe this important position needs someone with strong finance and business experience. They feel a former basic school teacher may not be suitable.

In an interview with the Ghanaian Times, one worker spoke anonymously. He suggested that the appointment was made quietly to avoid public scrutiny.

He expressed concern about the new CEO's communication skills. "This new CEO does not even know how to respond or interact via email," he said. This situation is worrying for them.
