The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted Adams Mahama Issahaku, headmaster of Piina Senior High School in the Upper West Region, amid an ongoing investigation into food items found in his official vehicle.

The action, effective immediately, follows a directive from the Director-General of GES.

A February 7 letter, signed by Regional Director Razak Z. Abdul-Korah, clarified that the interdiction is a procedural step, not a presumption of guilt.

Mr. Issahaku has been directed to hand over school administration and cooperate fully with investigators.

The GES reassured stakeholders of a fair and transparent inquiry while urging all parties involved to comply with directives to ensure an impartial resolution.
