GH¢125,000 per month subject to a 15% increase every year – Minority reveals GoldBod CEO earnings

The minority in parliament has disclosed the salary and benefits of Sammy Gyamfi. He is the acting CEO of the Gold Board.

Sammy Gyamfi earns GH¢125,000 each month. His salary increases by 15% every year. The minority claims his compensation exceeds that of a Member of Parliament.

Recently, Sammy Gyamfi faced scrutiny after a video surfaced. In it, he gifts large sums of money to Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess.

Here are the details of his privileges as CEO:

- Annual salary: GH¢1.5 million (GH¢125,000 per month).
- Clothing allowance: 15% of annual basic salary.
- Security: Two personal security officers or GH¢6,000 for each officer.
- One gardener or GH¢4,000 as cash equivalent.
- Full medical coverage for himself, his spouse, and five children under 18 or up to 22 years old.
- Two company cars with full maintenance and insurance.
- Monthly fuel allowance: 1,500 litres for each vehicle.
- Vehicles may be sold to him upon contract termination.
- Thirty paid vacation days annually, excluding public holidays.
- Annual familiarization tour: Airfare up to USD 10,000 and USD 2,000 per day for seven days.
- Business travel includes business class tickets and a USD 2,000 daily per diem.
- Personal accident and life insurance worth five times his annual salary.

In response to criticism, Sammy Gyamfi issued a public apology. He expressed regret over his actions involving Nana Agradaa.

He explained that giving money is part of his custom to help others in need. He thought this act was private and did not expect it to become public. He called the situation unfortunate and regrettable.
