GHOne TV’s Ridwan Dini-Osman named 2025/2026 Nieman fellow at Harvard

Award-winning Ghanaian journalist Ridwan Karim Dini-Osman has been selected as a 2025/2026 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. He is the only African in this year's prestigious group of 22 journalists from nine countries.

The Nieman Fellowship, now in its 88th year, offers top journalists unique opportunities. Fellows can audit courses at Harvard and MIT. They also explore important issues in journalism.

Ridwan will focus on advancing inclusive reporting in African newsrooms. His work will highlight marginalized communities.

He joins fellows from major organizations like The New York Times and NPR. They will study topics such as AI, misinformation, climate change, and war crimes.

Ridwan is known for impactful reporting across continents. He has received many awards, including the Lorenzo Natali Prize and the Global Health Crisis Award.

EIB’s News Editor Alice Aryeetey praised Ridwan's achievement. She noted it reflects his brilliance and the growing influence of Ghanaian journalism.
