The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced a major reshuffle. This affects several senior personnel, including Programme Managers and Deputy Directors. The changes will take effect on May 19, 2025.
An official notice was signed by Acting Director-General Professor Samuel Kaba Akoriyea. The GHS aims to improve efficiency and coordination in the health system.
“This reassignment is part of a broader national strategy,” he stated. He requested proper handovers for the affected officials by the deadline. They must also communicate their new duty dates to the GHS office.
The reshuffle impacts 13 senior officials, including regional directors and medical superintendents.
